Sherie's First Quilt Block!!!
Sherie is a member of the Carol Doak Quilting Group. She made her first block, the Africa Block from Mariner's Compass Stars and turned it into a stunning wall quilt. She quickly moved on to make another fabulous Sunrise Quilt. I would say that Sherie is on her way
The group of 23 quilters calling themselves the Cotton Pickin Quilters of Jefferson Parish, LA made this stunning quilt from block #163 in 300 Paper-Pieced Quilt Blocks. It was designed by Pat Lee and gorgeously quilted by JoAn Knight The quilt will be donated to the Raintree group (formerly the Protestant Children's Home) for their fundraiser.
New Jersey Sunrise
M.C. Hart of Flemington, NJ attended the Sunrise workshop based on the quilt in Mariner's Compass Stars. She completed her top and created a stunning piece.
