The fine flat Flower Head Pins are the pins I use to pin my first fabric pieces. They are perfect for this because the head of the pin doesn't get in the way when the postcard is placed on the foundation to trim the excess fabric 1/4" from the seam line. This is one of my most-used rulers. I place the 1/4" yellow lines on the ruler's two adjoining sides on the black solid seam lines of the foundation to trim the completed blocks adding the 1/4" seam allowance. It is so much easier to see that the yellow line on the ruler is placed correctly when placed on the black line of the foundation to trim.

I have searched for some time to find just the right product to replace the Rotary Point Cutters that are no longer available.
