I designed and paper pieced and hand quilted this 48" quilt for my book, Easy Mix and Match Machine Paper Piecing. It is featured on page 82. The solid pink and blue fabrics are polished cotton to give a bit of a contemporary look. The design is timeless as the chain links up in the center of the quilt and creates a border around the edge. This is the quilt I was making when I had the light-bulb moment to fold the paper back and trim the next seam.
